Faith in Action
Wedgwood Community Church is dedicated to being a church in the Wedgwood community and for the Wedgwood community.
We strive to be a resource, as well as an influence in our neighborhood. We are dedicated to being responsive to the needs of the community and seek to contribute things that are important to Wedgwood.

In the church
Missions Sunday
Wedgwood Community Church designates the second Sunday of each month as Missions Sunday, when we take an offering collection dedicated to a particular mission focus.
Music Ensembles
Music plays an important role at Wedgwood Community Church, and we are proud to host rehearsals and performances for the Rain City Symphony, Rain City Women's Chorus, and the Rainbow City Band. Watch the Events page for upcoming concerts.
In the community
Twice-Monthly Visits to Saint Anne's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Every second and fourth Sundays of every month, Pastor Curtis leads visits to Saint Anne's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where we provide worship services and opportunities for fellowship.
Wedgwood Community Church provides a worship experience for 6 to 12-year-old residents of Ryther Child Center every Wednesday at 6 p.m.. This is a remarkable experience for both the children and the folks from Wedgwood. If you are interested in being a part of this experience, please contact the church.
Member of Evergreen Baptist Association
Wedgwood Community Church is proud to be a member of the Evergreen Association of American Baptist Churches. The Association is an American Baptist Region of churches in Washington, Utah, California, Idaho and Alaska doing business by consensus and organized by ethnic caucuses.
Sponsor of Wedgwood Community Council
Wedgwood Community Church is a proud sponsor of the Wedgwood Community Council, which represents the concerns of Wedgwood community residents in dealing with the City of Seattle. The council offers a forum for Wedgwood residents to air opinions, ideas, grievances, and announcements of community interest. We also coordinate events that benefit the community, including an outdoor cinema, business trick-or-treat, and presentations at council general meetings.
Picardo P-Patch
Wedgwood Community Church tends a plot in the Picardo p-patch right down the street from us, near Dahl Playfield (NE 82nd and 25th NE). Our produce is donated to Northwest Harvest. Volunteers are always welcome!
Preschool
Ms. Tara's Preschool, which is located at Wedgwood Community Church, promotes self-esteem, gentleness with others, and strength of human spirit in a positive learning environment.
In the world
Throughout the month of September, we will be participating in the One Great Hour of Sharing offering. These funds combine with those from many other denominations to respond to the needs of our country and to help bring faith into action.
